The Obama World View

Everyone’s seen this by now. Unfortunately, most everyone is concentrating primarily on the “redistribution of wealth” comments espoused in this interview. I believe the point to be made is how this interview reveals Obama’s blatant disregard for the Constitution, and that the Constitution and the courts will eventually be the means by which this “change” will be achieved:

“…the Constitution…reflected an enormous blindspot in this culture that carries on to this day…” and “…the Constitution…reflected a fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day…”  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11OhmY1obS4)

This is nothing new. Liberals, generally, see the Constitution as a “living” document which should be changed to reflect the societal “norms” of today; that the Constitution, as written, was not intended to to be interpreted literally.

“And one of the I think the tragedies of the Civil Rights movement was because the Civil Rights movement became so court focused I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change and in some ways we still suffer from that.”

What Obama was saying here is that before they can influence radical change through the courts, they have to mold people’s minds “on the ground” through political and community organizing. “Coalitions of power”. That is the key, folks. They want to MOLD the minds of the American people to see the world like they do. Sooner or later, they believe you will see the benefits of the “change” they are espousing. Be very afraid my friends. This IS what Obama believes and what he means when he talks about “change”. They know this will take some time. As Obama says in every speech he gives: “Change will take time.” What he is saying is that this will be a slow indoctrination. It will not be immediately apparent (other than to the astute and those that are truly paying attention), that our country and our society are in a slow, yet methodical, decline into a socialistic society. They have a pretty good start at the mind-molding effort already. Just look at how many people are showing up at his rallies, nodding their heads as he spews his radical, socialist viewpoints, while trying to sound like a caring, compassionate American. Look at the network of “community organizers” they have slowly developed over the years (e.g. ACORN and others). They have targeted, with great success, one of the largest population segments; young people, whose minds can more easily be molded, and who, generally, have no clue of the real world.
