Iraq’s government approves security pact with US

via My Way News – Iraq’s government approves security pact with US

“The agreement is believed to have met Iraqi concerns over its sovereignty and its security needs as it continues to grapple with a diminished but persistent insurgency. It gives Iraq the right to try U.S. soldiers and defense contractors in the case of serious crimes committed off-duty and off-base.”

Bush resisted the last part during the entire negotiations. In the end, he capitulated. He’s damaged and compromised our own sovereignty for 8 years. We’re over there protecting and dying for the Iraqi people and we are going to allow the Iraqis to try our military men and women in their courts?!! I would expect this from Obama, but not from a man who proclaims his support for our military men and women. He will deserve his legacy. Which is better, a President who calls himself a conservative, but acts like a liberal, or a President who calls himself a liberal and acts like a liberal? I guess we’ll see soon.

Inhofe: Roll Back the Bailout

via United States Senator James Inhofe : Press Room

Everyone needs to call/email their congress(wo)men and support Senator Inhofe’s stance. It’s just as important to proclaim our support for those that are standing up for conservative values as it is to proclaim our dissatisfaction with those that don’t represent our values or don’t have the spine to do the right thing.

via kare11.com | Twin Cities, MN | Typo correction brings Franken closer to Coleman

Frankenstein goes from almost 1000 votes down on Wednesday to 221 votes on Friday. Funny how these “mistakes” tend to go in favor of the Democrat! Gee, I wonder who will win the recount. What a national embarrassment if Frankenstein becomes a U.S. Senator.
